A JOB WELL DONE!
A number of S.O.N.C. Members volunteered again this year to do the "After Ironman Race Clean-up" of Eastside Road from Penticton to O.K. Falls. 28 Members met on Monday morning at 8;00AM, after Ironman Race day, on South Main Street in Penticton to tackle the job of cleaning Eastside Road. Teams, of two Members each, went out to clean a one kilometer stretch each, of the road. The job was done by about 10:30AM and everybody got together afterwards for a coffee at McDonalds on Main Street.
One of our Members reported that he had two people comment as to good a job we had done and the Ironman Co-ordinator, Laura Carlson, also mentioned that she had some very favourable comments regarding the great clean-up job along Eastside Road.
It nice to know that, Yes! people noticed: A JOB WELL DONE !
